       As we are approaching colder weather, warm Sunday morning pancakes sound like the perfect option to combat the chill in the air. However, traditional pancakes are known for being full of refined carbohydrates and unhealthy fats. This recipe is a simple alternative that barely compromises the delicious taste and texture of your favorite pancake recipe!

Crew Slew!

      Kicking off with fall sports, the crew team of Mystic Valley has been practicing rigorously from four to six in the afternoon. If you do not know, the crew team specializes in rowing boats and to test their skill against other crew teams. The crew matches are called crew meets.

Boys Soccer Loses to Shawsheen

The Mystic Valley Regional Charter School’s varsity boys’ soccer team fell to Shawsheen Valley Technical High School on October 3rd by a final score of 5-2. The road loss dropped the team’s overall record to 4-5. Freshman midfielder Soufyane Missbah El Idrissi scored for the Eagles.

Boda Borg Opens in Malden in October

        We sat down with the owner of the first Boda Borg in America, located on Pleasant Street in Malden, on Sunday October 11th to discuss their business and its movement to the states. Boda Borg is a Swedish entertainment company, and the Malden location is the first to open in the United States.

        Boda Borg's website describes the new building at 90 Pleasant Street as a “real-world gaming environment.” People in groups of three to five choose a “quest” that they wish to do and, without any instruction, navigate through each room using clues.
