Junior Varsity Volleyball Wins

   On Friday, October 9, 2015, the Mystic Valley volleyball team had a home game against CAC rival Shawsheen. The junior varsity team played first, followed by the varsity team. The volleyball team also ran a successful bake sale during both games to raise money for the team.

       Even after getting off to a rough start, the junior varsity team pulled out a win. One of the JV captains, Brianna Nogueira, had a few things to say about the game. She said, “I was nervous but I had faith in the team because we beat Shawsheen last time.” Even if the team was nervous, they still played well and fought for their win. The volleyball team will continue their efforts as the season wraps up. Their last game will be Sunday, November 1, at home at 11 o’clock.
